This tube is not as tough as an Ultra Heavy Duty tube, but is great to carry as a spare as it is a bit lighter and smaller in volume than the Ultra Heavy Duty tube.

We supply a range of Tubes(depending on availability) Natural Rubber Tubes.

Adventure motorcycles are generally heavy and taking big hits in rough terrain. All these hits go through your tyres, tubes and rims.

If you dent a rim that is fitted with a tubeless tyre, the tyre can deflate.

Standard thickness tubes (thin rubber) in tube-type tyres are susceptible to pinch flats. i.e. the thin tube is pinched when the tyre is compressed while taking a sharp hard hit. Again, the tyre deflates.

We recommend that you fit tubeless and tube-type tyres with heavy to ultra heavy duty tubes and run them at 26 psi to guard against pinch flats.

*Note When placing a heavy-duty or ultra heavy duty tube in a tyre, it is recommended that you buy a tube one size smaller (width) than the tyre size.

Save your knuckles and buy a valve stem fishing tool.

If you only carry one spare tube, we recommend carrying a front tube as the larger diameter front tube will fit the front and rear tyres. While not perfect for the rear tyre, it will get you out of trouble.*Note While tubes are obviously not necessary for tubeless rims, it is possible to damage a tubeless tire in such a way that the tire cannot be repaired or plugged. That is when carrying a spare tube along (and having the necessary tire changing tools and tyre patches/sleeves) can be a lifesaver. Having a tube fitted in advance guards against pinch flats.
